The Legislative Committee monitors the Texas State Legislature when in session and identifies specific bills that may have direct or indirect impact on the operations of municipal building and development departments. The committee may work with the Texas Municipal League and other associated organizations to propose amendments and/or testify for or against specific bills. This committee is also responsible for keeping the Chapter’s by-laws relevant and up to date.
